Didn't see the Dr this time .... was in for a blood draw .... Was able to go directly to check in window - delightful lady checked me in, and I turned around 1 step and another staff person (Carrie) took me back to get my blood wShow moreork done. I arrived 20 min ahead of my scheduled appt --- and was IN & OUT in 10 min - and left their office --- 10 min ahead of my scheduled appt time. What a great experience !!
First appt with Dr Perez, who was recommended to me by a family member. He interacted with me as a person, thanking me for my time spent filling out the lengthy medical history and asking questions to understand my experience & coShow morencerns about my medical issues, before presenting options for treatment, with details re: each option. His relaxed manner was calming & helpful, as was his clear explanation of each treatment option. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing a urologist.
Manuel Perez, MD, is certified by the American Board of Urology and specializes in diagnosing and treating a variety of urological diseases and disorders at The Urology Group in Hardeeville, South Carolina. Before working in private practice, Dr. Perez was an officer in the United States Navy, served as the Chief of Staff at Hilton Head Hospital in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and was on the Board of Governors.

Dr Perez is very knowledgeable and caring.
Dr Perez has always looked out for me and my medical needs. I have always enjoyed our banter during my time at his office. Great sense of humor and he is never in a hurry. Plus, he has a fabulous array of magazines in the waiting room.
Overall very good experience. Dr Perez took the time to discuss new medication and its benefits. Very comfortable and way to talk to.

This is my second visit with Dr.Perez. The first was several years ago when the Dr, removed a large kidney stone at HH HOSPITAL. This time the Dr. is tackling the results of a bad result by another physician.

Urology is a tough job - almost everything has potential to be painful to the patient BUT Dr. Perez explains everything well, listen's well, doesn't sugar-coat things and is thoroughly professional. I recommend him without hesitation.

Great honest expertise
Dr. Perez has been very thorough from an emergency Kidney Stone in 2020. 2nd Kidney Stone in 2025 & he is now working to eliminate future stones.

Dr Perez gets to the point. He listens to your issues and prescribes a course of action based on you desired effects. It's refreshing to find a Doctor that actually listens to you and doesn't rush you out so he can get to the next patient.
