About Marc Catalano, MD

Dr. Mark F. Catalano is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist and an internationally recognized leader in advanced endoscopy. He specializes in pancreaticobiliary diseases, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and Bariatric Endoscopy, and is widely regarded as a pioneer in these fields. With a career spanning decades, Dr. Catalano has made significant contributions to both clinical care and medical research. He has authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications and continues to shape modern gastroenterology through innovation, education, and mentorship. Dr. Catalano was past Governor of the American College of Gastroenterology and Associate Editor of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a premier journal in Gastroenterology.
