Marc Samson, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing at Los Angeles Orthopaedic Center located in Downtown Los Angeles. His mission is to provide exceptional orthopaedic care to individuals living in and around Los Angeles, California.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Samson completed his undergraduate education at the University of California Berkeley, where he majored in biology and graduated with honors. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California Irvine. Dr. Samson completed his surgical internship at New York Medical College and his orthopaedic surgery residency training at New York Medical College and Boston University. In 1997, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University.
Well-versed in the field of sports medicine, Dr. Samson has served as a team physician for numerous high school, collegiate, and professional sports teams, including Stanford University, Boston University, the University of Massachusetts, and the NFL's San Francisco 49'ers.
Dr. Samson is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is also board-certified in sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and serves as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital
