Second, wait time is very tolerable Third, once you’re in the examining room or weight space for the physician, you have an attendant that addresses additional Show moreinformation. Fourth, put on the staff member leaving very soon the doctor is in attendance. The efficiency is very satisfactory. Dr. Wittenberg is very professional and certainly knows what he is doing and I hear from other friends that it’s much Saturday after and very hard to get into see him on a short-term basis, I have not found this to be true. They have fine-tuned the staff. Dr. Wittenberg is very efficient and brings to the table good knowledge and I have found his procedures to be very helpful with my pain in my neck. So glad that I found him through another physician. Of course, patient has to participate in their daily exercises and not rely totally On the injections provided by Dr. Wittenberg. I am making progress and I am a very happy person. He’s also very courteous and accommodating in the patient’s requests for running dialogue when he’s in procedures. So the patient is comfortable and informed. I am a happy client. Not totally over the hump yet but we’re working on it. I have great faith in this man.
My appointment was scheduled for today at 11:40 with Dr Whittenberg. I dealt with staff for 1.5 hours. Someone repeatedly claimed they sent me the Zoom email invite. Well I found out Neuro pain continued to email a different persoShow moren named Jennifer Neilsen. I am Lori Nielsen. They insinuated and assumed I was the reason for the goof up. So they Never looked for the error on their part. I sat on Zoom for 40 minutes. I am so frustrated. Staff claimed they told Dr Whittenberg I was waiting. I missed an noon appointment because I sat on hold so long. I must talk to Dr Whittenberg in order to get my medication. Thank you.
Board-certified anesthesiologist Marc Ian Wittenberg, MD, is passionate about pain management. He shares this enthusiasm and expertise with his patients at Neuro Pain Consultants in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, at the hospital with colleagues, in the classroom with medical students, and even at the United States Ryder Cup, where he once served as chief pain physician for the U.S. Cup Team.
Dr. Wittenberg began his medical education as an undergraduate student at Wayne State University, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and went on to serve a surgical internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Wittenberg continued his post-doctoral education at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, where he completed an anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship.
When he isn’t helping patients at Neuro Pain Consultants, he can be found working on several hospital committees or with colleagues in professional societies. Dr. Wittenberg is a member of the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Spinal Injection Society, the International Anesthesiology Research Society, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
