Hello. My appointment on Friday 11/28 went pretty well. My prescriptions were called to the pharmacy promptly, the doctor asked me pertinent questions, and had the time to listen to my answers. I got some advice about several thiShow morengs, some of which I have taken already, and some of which I am considering. In these last two days/nights, I am at least meeting my basic energy needs with eating, and I slept well. Thought patterns are not unbearably gloomy. Feelings okay.
Maria De Los Santos is an amazing psychiatrist. She's super understanding and knowledgeable about mental health and medications. I feel like I can truly come to her with my issues and she always makes me feel heard and gives mShow moree great advice. Have had three appointments with Dr. Santos, but in general I like her more than Cher Cergizhan. Like with Cheri, however, there is something that bothers me -- she hardly ever looks me in the eye during the appointmet. I do not know if this has to do with how she has arranged her screens, but it is impersonal and just a tad disrespectful. With Dr. Cerigzhan, her face was utterly and completely turned away from the camera. It was rude, at best. the doc should look me in the eye.
I would highly recommend Maria DeLos Santos. She is kind, compassionate. She gets to know her patients and listens to them.

Dr. Santos was helpful. I wish she’d gotten my messages earlier, because I have grown used to using the patient portal for communicating with my care provider. I am not doing well mentally and I just had an abdominal surgery. I’m worried about myself. I don’t know if the doctor could appreciate that. I’m having a lot of dark lonely thoughts about life and death, wondering if I’ll make it okay in life, wondering if it’s worth living. I am scared for myself right now.

Maria is truly an amazing person . I was scared when I first decided to get help. I have been working with her for a couple months now and she has totally changed me for the better . & I thank her so much for that.
