Mark Barakat

Dr. Barakat is a board-eligible emergency medicine physician who brings hands-on acute care experience to his collaborative work with Wright Way Family Practice, PLLC. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Barakat now calls Fort Worth, Texas home. He was drawn to emergency medicine by the challenge of thinking quickly and clearly under pressure, and he believes patients deserve that same urgency and clarity in a clinic visit that they'd expect in an emergency room. Dr. Barakat earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in 2025. He currently practices emergency medicine at hospitals throughout the Fort Worth area and beyond, giving him broad experience treating patients across every age group and level of urgency. Dr. Barakat also serves as Medical Director for a fire department and emergency services district near Houston, reflecting his ongoing commitment
