My initial appointment with Dr. Mathieson was quite impressive. First of all, he arranged to obtain my medical records and actually reviewed them prior to my visit! This made me feel important as he was well-prepared for my appoShow moreintment. He genuinely listened to my concerns and took the time to thoroughly explain what I needed to work on prior to reconstruction and what he realistically could do to improve my current status. He took the time to answer all my questions and also offered an additional option (outside his expertise) for me to look into before making a final decision that’s best for me. Wow - I’ve had a lot of initial visits with surgeons and he’s definitely up there at the top!
Dr.Mathieson is an original. Meaning that I have not met a more caring Health care professional since I was a child. And that says a lot being a a senior citizen.. His care is one of a kind. He is a perfectionist. He communicatShow morees on a level that let's you leave his office knowing you have been well taken care of . He makes your visit comfortable so you every need is met. When I leave his office I am never in question of anything. Shannon has everything covered at the front desk, and is so delightful as well. Their arent enough stars to rate this Dr. And his staff. I could give Dr.M. a thousand.

Dr. Mathieson is a highly skilled surgeon with a wonderful and caring bedside manner. He did an unusually thorough initial consultation and followed up independently to assure that I would be in an optimal health pre-op. The surgery went very well and was followed up with a next day visit to his office. He thoroughly explained each step along the way and I knew I would be cared for. We left with his email address and cell number. He made sure that we would be able to reach him directly for any post-op issues. I highly recommend him as a plastic surgeon.
