Dr. Markie Niemeyer, MD

Markie Niemeyer, MD, is a skilled OB/GYN on the team at Gemini OBGYN, where she focuses on providing high-quality women’s health services to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey. She sees patients from the practice’s office location in Pembroke Pines, Florida. 

Dr. Niemeyer was born and raised in South Florida and attended the University of Florida for college. She went on to attend Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System. There, she served as Administrative Chief Resident and was the recipient of the Allan McLeod award for clinical care, teaching, and mentorship, as well as the John Ford award for her performance in Gynecology and research. 

Through her work at Gemini OBGYN, Dr. Niemeyer is proud to serve the diverse community of South Florida, caring for patients across the whole spectrum of reproductive health. She stays up to date on the latest evidence-based medicine in order to provide high-quality, safe medical care to her patients. 

In her free time, Dr. Niemeyer enjoys walking along the South Florida beaches with her family and Pomeranian. She loves indoor cycling, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
