I think Marlene Hamama, is one of the most patient, kind, informative physicians assistant anyone could hope for. She goes above and beyond for all of her patients. She listens and truly cares about the patients needs. I have haShow mored the opportunity to meet with her on several occasions, the treatment I have received has made me feel better physically and emotionally. I feel confident when I leave there, that whatever, up coming treatment, I am going to have is truly going to benefit me. I will continue coming to this office. I would highly recommend this office to anyone, they are very accommodating. The wonderful staff, Marlene Hamama and Dr. Wittenberg are absolutely the best.
I was examined thoroughly. A review of my current health status. A Neurological exam was performed. A true sense of INTEGRITY was put into that exam. My upcoming appointments with my neurosurgeon was discussed for my impending 2Show morend neck surgery. Just an overall sense that she cared about my pain and the steps being taken to try to resolve it and assist me in that process. One of my best visits to the clinic ever. Thank you for making me comfortable and reassuring me she was there for me along with the wizard Dr. Todd Linager! Thank you for making feel like it all mattered.

Marlene is a certified adult nurse practitioner at Neuro Pain Consultants with four convenient locations in the metropolitan Detroit region: Bloomfield Hills, Clarkston, Macomb Township, and West Bloomfield, Michigan.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Marlene continued on to Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, where she earned her master’s degree in nursing with advanced training for the full scope of nurse practitioner.
She groomed specialized skills in pain management while serving as a pre-operative/recovery nurse in diverse clinical settings, such as surgical intensive care and trauma units. Previously, Marlene worked for the American Surgical Centers and William Beaumont Hospital.
She brings her passion for patient care and her commitment to helping patients maintain their health to her work as a member of the Neuro Pain Consultants medical staff.

Marlene had ordered an MRI as it was several years ago for the last one. She thoroughly explained the results and additional issues with my lowered back, and had a few options available for me to consider, to improve / lessen pain in these disc's. She always go above and beyond in my opinion, in helping negate or lessen my pain. She and Dr. Wittenberg are great. I would and have recommended this practice to others.
