Dr. Matthew Bowen

Matthew Bowen, MD, FAAOA, is an otolaryngologist at West Shore ENT & Allergy. Dr. Bowen treats patients of all ages at West Shore ENT & Allergy’s offices in Norton Shores and Grand Haven, Michigan, where he specializes in complex and challenging conditions of the ear, nose, and throat.

Dr. Bowen is a Yooper, born and raised in Michigan’s picturesque Upper Peninsula. He received his medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago and then completed a residency in otolaryngology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans. He returned home to Michigan in 2013 to begin practicing medicine.

Dr. Bowen is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He lectures frequently at national medical conferences and meetings and has been involved in a number of research studies related to problems of the head and neck. His extensive medical research findings have been published in leading medical journals and textbooks.

Although Dr. Bowen is trained in all aspects of ear, nose, and throat medicine, his special interests include ear surgery, rhinoplasty, salivary gland surgery, and in-office sinus procedures.
