Dr Fan listened and made me feel that he understood my issues, but also determined that I did not need a psychiatrist, but a good therapist. He emailed me a list of therapists and I will follow thru. It is refreshing to know that there are mental health Dr.s like Dr.Fan who are so honest and caring to do the right thing for the patient.

I appreciate Dr. Fan in always humanizing my appointment. I don't feel like another number or patient to check off the list. I feel as though my concerns and progress are always genuinely heard by him. Additionally, his professionalism and ability to be personable at the same time have given me consistently great appointments. I don't feel embarrassed or ashamed to see psychiatry like I was before I started. It's why I continue to see him instead of going elsewhere.
Dr. Fan is great, he is very easygoing and a great listener. Sessions with him feel like I'm speaking to a friend. I am pretty laid back so this style suits my personality. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who hates the idea of therapy and wants to ease in.
