I recently had our records transferred to Goodman Dermatology because we were traveling too far and Goodman Dermatology is so close to our home in Sun City West. We were welcomed by the staff with a smile and it was almost overwheShow morelming for me because most offices we go to are not that way at all! I like Dr Goodman’s personality and what a caring Dr. he goes above and beyond explaining what needs to be done to keep our skin as healthy as possible! We are very happy thank you for accepting us as patients !
I have now seen both Dr. Goodman's (father and son) and they both are truly exceptional doctors. They listen, explain things so that you understand ..and they care about you. Wonderful bedside manners on both. ..and the wait Show moretime to get an appointment isn't 6 years either. When i called they said they could get me in the next day...What???? What a refreshing change. Book your appt, you'll be glad you did.
Matt Goodman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with over 30 years of experience at Goodman Dermatology and Mohs Surgery in Sun City West, Arizona. He specializes in skin cancer diagnosis, prevention, and Mohs micrographic surgery. Known for his dedication to excellence in dermatologic care, Dr. Goodman has performed thousands of procedures and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, cancer-free skin.
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Goodman earned both his undergraduate degree (with Highest Distinction) and medical degree from the University of Arizona. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he also served as chief resident and received an NIH research fellowship. He later became a faculty assistant professor at UC Irvine, served as director of dermatology and Mohs surgery, and co-director of the UC Irvine Melanoma Center.
Dr. Goodman is a Fellow and the founding president of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. His clinical work and research have been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has been honored multiple times as a Physician of Excellence by his peers.
Outside of work, Dr. Goodman enjoys life with his wife, Kay, and their five children. After decades in private practice, he is proud to open a new dermatology office in Sun City West, AZ, offering expert skin care rooted in decades of experience and a commitment to personalized treatment.

First visit and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Goodman was friendly and informative. Nice to have a community seasoned dermatologist here in Sun City West.
Dr. Goodman is the best. If you have any dermatology problems you have to go to Dr. Goodman. He and his staff treat you like no other. 10 stars for the Goodman practice!!

I went in to have the doctors opinion about a mark on my nose. He studied it carefully under a lot of light and determined it was not a problem and suggested I get a particular product to put on it. Then he said if it is still there in a month to let him know.
Doctor Matt Goodman is the best! Because he gets results and he cares about his patients I will never go to another dermatologist! I feel lucky to have found him.
