From the second I walked into his office, I knew I made the right choice in an OB Gyn to deliver my first baby! He came highly recommended and was the third doctor we interviewed and was simply the best!!! From the first meetiShow moreng, he was so energetic and engaged in my case, and remained that way for the next 9 months -- even the delivery felt like a party! We had so much fun with Dr. Guile as a doctor, we almost forgot that I had a very challenging case (advanced maternal age for a first time mom, IVF, etc.) but he said, "Leave the worrying to me and focus on relaxing"! It's amazing to have a doctor you can trust and don't need to second guess or do google research for for a second opinion. He knows what he's talking about, has solid instincts, and is masterful in assessing the complicated science of pregnancy. And while it felt like a party, our delivery could have been dangerous due to the baby's position, but he didn't miss a beat and is who anyone would want on their side in the delivery/operating room! So grateful!

Dr. Guile earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, in 1996. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2005 before completing a residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Guile’s professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, the diagnosis and management of cervical dysplasia, endometriosis, and high-risk obstetrics.

I just love Dr. Guile. He is one of the rare "whole-patient" doctors who is interested in all of one's medical history and concerns. He takes his time, does not rush, and is extremely thorough. I saw him the morning of January 8th and we talked about evacuation options if the wildfires got too close. He was concerned about getting out of Fryman Canyon, if necessary. Two hours after my appointment, I had to evacuate due to the Sunset Fire, and I got a notice that Fryman Canyon was experiencing encroaching fires. I am home now and safe for the moment, and I hope that Dr. Guile is, as well. Stay safe
Dr SGL is an incredibly talented and empathetic doctor. I can’t say enough about her extraordinary intellect and ability to treat and educate her patients. Her expertise with women’s health is top notch and I will continue to recommend her brilliance.
I always look forward to seeing Dr Guile. His presence has always been so positive, caring and gentile. He really takes the time to listen to you and doesn’t try rush you out of the room like every other Dr out there. I’ll travel an hour to see him any day! He’s the best OB I’ve ever had!

I would recommend Dr Guile to all of my family and friends. Not only is he kind, experienced, and great at his job- He responds quickly and made me feel comfortable during such a vulnerable time. He advocated for my birth plan and also helped me understand any twists and turns in my pregnancy. All doctors are extremely busy, but it’s the good ones that slow down and go the extra mile for their patients. Thanks Dr. G!

No matter the situation I find myself facing, or things I have to troubleshoot with my body in terms of gynecology, this team and Dr.Guile are fully present, compassionate, and equipped for a good game plan. Him and his team are literally my fave doctor and practice! Trying to conceive is rough journey and they have been there every step supporting. Also, he’s an incredible surgeon. Quality doctors and team are hard to come by, this practice is a Gem!

Dr Guile is the best doctor. He takes his time to answer every question with great detail. My favorite part about though is that he humanizes each experience. I’ve seen many doctors throughout my fertility journey and they have this robotic non emotional aspect which feels cold. Dr guile is the exact opposite and it’s meant the most to me.
