Matthew Pavelek, PA-C

Matt is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is a native of Arizona. Matt graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in photojournalism. Before his journey into medicine began, Matt worked as a photographer and journalist within the action sports industry working with top clients such as Red Bull. This is where he developed a strong calling to the field of orthopedics after several trips to the orthopedic clinic himself after years of racing motocross. He then continued his education at The University Of Bridgeport located in Bridgeport, CT where he graduated with his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with a strong interest in orthopedics, sports medicine and physical medicine. Matt worked within orthopedic surgery and sports medicine for several years treating a wide range of complex shoulder, elbow and knee pathologies. In his free time you can find Matt out on the trails across Arizona as he is an avid mountain biker and overall outdoor enthusiast.

As a provider at Arrowhead Physical Medicine, Matt aims to restore function, limit pain and allow each patient to return to the activities they love by getting to the root of the problem rather than masking it. He enjoys developing meaningful relationships with his patients to better assist in relieving pain and to increase functionality in your daily life with a non-surgical approach.
