Maulik Bhalani, MD, is the founder and CEO of Florida Pain Medicine, an interventional spine and pain management facility with locations in Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Brandon, Zephyrhills, Riverview, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, and St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also the founder and medical director of Surgery Center of Florida. Dr. Bhalani is board-certified in interventional pain medicine and physical medicine & rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Medical Specialties.
After earning his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Bhalani went on to complete a physical medicine & rehabilitation residency at the University of South Florida, where he served as chief resident and completed a prestigious interventional pain medicine fellowship as well. Dr. Bhalani did his transitional medicine internship and partial anesthesiology training with the University of Maryland Medical Systems in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Bhalani is the current Vice President of the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (FSIPP) and a member of several professional societies and regional organizations dedicated to pain medicine and physical medicine & rehabilitation. He currently serves as clinical associate professor and faculty for the pain medicine fellowship and Department of Neurology at the University of South Florida which allows Florida Pain Medicine to be a core rotation site for the ACGME Pain Medicine fellows and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residents.
With a strong belief that one should always keep learning, Dr. Bhalani continually pursues additional training and education in the latest interventional spine and pain management technology, attending pain conferences across the nation and bringing home the latest and most innovative practices for his patients. He continues to produce research and literature dedicated to pain management, and he participates in clinical trials for new pain treatments to help advance the field he loves.
When not helping his patients, Dr. Bhalani enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, and teaching residents and fellow surgeons at the University of South Florida. He is a huge sports fan: Go Creighton Bluejays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, and Orlando Magic.

Dr Cordova is the best. She is very knowledgeable and passes that knowledge on to the patient. It's a tough business but she makes it as pleasant as she can for everybody involved. Definitely blessed to have met up with her and her colleagues.
Dr Massaro was wonderful as he explained to me what he was doing through out the procedure. Although I was quite nervous at first he assured me that if I couldn't handle it he would stop the procedure ,but it went fine and I'm very thankful to have a physician that takes the time to talk to me.
Dr ogg speaks to you the whole. Letting you know how something will be filling before it happens. Love working with her team.
The whole staff are kind, professional and compassionate. The office is clean, comfortable and peaceful. The staff and doctor are always very conscientious of my time (and that of my driver.) While they don't ever rush me or my procedure, they also don't keep me waiting for long periods of time. Dr. Cordova-Ogg is always thorough and makes sure that I am comfortable, and understand every step of the procedure I would strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a pain specialist doctor to choose Dr Cordova-Ogg and Florida Pain Medicine.
Dr Gabriel mascaro, is one of the best doctors I have ever been to and all my life, he's kind understanding and very professional, he will listen to your concerns and come up with a solution to resolve your problem, this doctor deserves 10 Stars , and so do the other doctors in that office. also the staff that works there from the front desk to the assistances they also are professional and very kind and patient with patience. It's great that you can go to a doctor's office and know you're going to be treated right not just another number thank you so much all of you.

My experience in the office was 5 Stars the support staff and the administration of epidural were excellent The results were not as good as my second one. Little relief on calf and some on the thigh. Cannot sit comfortably

Dr Mascaro is very thorough. He explains everything that he's going to do. While he's giving you your injections he goes over step by step again. He tries to get you to relax. I would recommend him to everyone.
The office is clean and proficent , Dr. Mascaros is patient and understanding of your condition . He has a quality bed side manner . I highly recommend his practice for your pain management needs .

Doctor Mascara is the best!! After a year of other procedures I finally found a treatment that has helped me! I highly recommend him if you have any pain!! His staff is friendly and efficient also!!

Excellent as always
Dr. Cardova is wonderful and kind. I had relief on Saturday for a little while and then the pain returned. Having trouble lifting my right leg and with standing in place or walking. I have been using ice, as normal for me, through out the day!
She is great. I was really bad. I showed up for my appointment and they said had an emergency. I told them I'm not leaving. We drove an hour to see her. They put us in a room and she showed up sick. That is a awesome Doctor
My appointment was for 8:20AM. Danielle took me in early. She had quite a few questions but she handled it very well. The nurse took me to the treatment room and though I am uncomfortable on my stomach she was able to get me through it quite well. Doctor Gabriel was there immediately afterward. He treated me with very little discomfort and finished almost immediately. It was one of the most positive experiences I have ever had in a doctor’s office. I appreciate the care I received. Thank you for a job well done.
