I’m so blessed to have found Dr. Conway. I am a recovered substance abuser and have been sober for over 3.5 years (October 1st, 2021) When I first got sober, through a 12 step program, I felt better than I had ever imagine but after a while my ADHD symptoms became somewhat unmanageable. After having struggled with the guilt of being treated again in my sobriety, Dr. Conway not only understood my circumstances, she made me feel heard and not judged because of my sickness. She proceeded carefully into my treatment and worked with me by, carefully, prescribing medication and maintaining therapy. I was able to share my substance abuse history with her without feeling ashamed and my care in sobriety is something that harmoniously goes hand in hand the counseling aspect but my regular consistent involvement with the 12 step program, That of which was the catalyst to me getting and staying sober. There is really no care in health care these days but Dr. Conway is a rare one who’s setting a new standard. Thanks for all you do Dr. Conway!
