Dr. Maxine Owusu is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and the co-founder of Thrive Health Center serving Jonesboro and the surrounding South Atlanta community. With over 10 years of experience treating patients in high-acuity emergency departments, she brings expert clinical judgment together with a preventive, whole-person approach to care. Dr. Owusu earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Northwell Health in New York. She has practiced across multiple hospital systems and understands firsthand the gaps patients face when access, time, and continuity of care are limited .
