Meaghan takes the time to review my chart prior to my visit and go over items that came up from prior visit(s). She is very knowledgeable about chronic (back, in my case) pain and the options available for treatment and will reviShow moreew with Dr. Reinhart when warranted. The only problem i have had is that she has not received messages left for refills as well as items that I needed to discuss at our next appointment. The other issue is that it seems that patients are booked without regard to how long actual appointments take as she takes the time to reveiw everything. I never feel rushed in my appontment, but the wait in the lobby to get called in can be an hour or more. This is unacceptable, the only reason that I put up with it is that I really like the care and attention from both Meaghan and Dr. Reinhart.
I have gone there for about ten years now and saw Dr Lai. I was a little apprehensive when another Dr came because the last one that took Dr Lais place was a horrible Dr and human being! I am so happy with Dr. Berglund, she's evenShow more a better Dr than Dr Lai was, which I never thought was possible, I haven't felt this good in years!
Meaghan Berglund, PA-C, brings extensive experience and compassion to her role at Desert Pain Specialists in Rancho Mirage, California. She has been dedicated to the field of pain management since 2007 and has been part of Dr. Reinhart’s team since May 2020. In addition to her work in pain care, she also has three years of specialized experience in spinal surgery, giving her a strong foundation in treating complex conditions affecting the spine and nervous system.
Meaghan earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she developed her skills in patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. She is passionate about helping patients regain their quality of life, combining clinical expertise with a thoughtful and compassionate approach. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported, understood, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of the office, Meaghan enjoys a full and active life. She is married, with two wonderful stepdaughters, and shares her home with two lively beagles who keep her on her toes. In her spare time, she loves to watch football, play golf, attend concerts, and spend time with family and friends.

Meaghan is easy to talk to. She listens to everything I say. Since seeing her, I’ve never had any issues with my prescription refills. She personally schedules my follow up appointments at the end of our visits. Easy and never any issues.
I am grateful for Meaghan Berglund and their office as a whole. I have dealt with chronic pain for over a decade now and their help has allowed me to be standing upright again as well as regain mobility to start being successful in my career which I wasn’t sure would happen.

Megan does a great job listening to what I have to say and makes suggestions that should help. She is booked to capacity, but still takes the time to try and get me the pain relief that I need. I think Dr. Reinhart has a winner in Megan Berglund.

Waited two and a half hours to see her. She’s smart and understands well, listens carefully but NOBODY should wait over 25 to 30 minutes!! A text saying they are backed up or a call would be acceptable.
