Megan James, PA

Megan James, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of clinical experience. She sees patients via telehealth at KairWell Weight and Wellness, which is based in Davie, Florida. 

Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology, where she developed a strong foundation in fitness, nutrition, and preventive health. Megan then began her physician assistant career in 2010, specializing in orthopedic surgery with a focus on total joint replacement and orthopedic trauma. During this time, she frequently worked with patients who needed to achieve weight loss goals in order to medically qualify for joint surgery. That experience deepened her interest in weight management and preventive care, particularly for patients struggling with obesity.

Now transitioning into the field of weight and wellness medicine, Megan is committed to helping individuals overcome the disease of obesity and achieve sustainable, healthy lifestyles. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based care and a deep desire to empower patients to take charge of their health. She is excited to be part of the KairWell Weight and Wellness team and your weight loss and wellness journey.

Outside of her clinical work, Megan loves traveling, reading, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with her family in the beautiful Treasure Coast area.
