This was my first visit and Dr. Slack was very thorough in reviewing my medical history and current issues. She ordered blood work and set up a follow up appointment. She has a very nice manner and is easy to talk to. I like the concierge model. I didn’t feel rushed and the ability to contact her directly is a definite plus.

The amount of time I spend going to medical appointments can be overwhelming. This week has been a particularly stressful week. I had an appointment with Melanie this morning. Walking into her office, I immediately felt at ease. Her attention is totally focused on you and your health issues. You know that she is looking out for your best interests. Dr. Slack is very engaging, knowledgeable, and respectful. She conducts unrushed appointments that are quite refreshing. The relationship feels less authoritarian and more collaborative, although she projects as a knowledgeable physician. She does so in a humanistic manner.
