Micaela Marin-Tucker, PA-C, is an experienced physician assistant who has been caring for children and families at Valencia Pediatrics since May 2006. As one of the practice’s longest-serving providers, Micaela has developed lasting relationships with generations of families throughout Victorville and the surrounding High Desert communities, including Apple Valley and Hesperia.
Micaela began her healthcare education locally at Victor Valley College, where she completed certified nursing assistant training and earned an associate degree in math and science. She later completed the Physician Assistant Certificate Program at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
Before joining Valencia Pediatrics, Micaela gained experience in a wide variety of healthcare settings, including private medical offices, hospitals, residential care, and hospice. Her clinical background has included primary care as well as orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency medicine, giving her a broad foundation that she brings to the care of her pediatric patients today.
Since joining Valencia Pediatrics in 2006, Micaela has become an integral part of the practice and a familiar, trusted provider for many of our families. She believes in caring for the whole patient and approaches each child and family with dignity, respect, honesty, and compassion.
Micaela especially values building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, helping them understand their child’s health and feel comfortable asking questions and participating in medical decisions. Her extensive experience and commitment to continuity of care allow her to support children through every stage of growth and development.
Micaela is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to communicate directly with and provide culturally responsive care to many of the families Valencia Pediatrics serves.

Such an amazing doctor. She reviewed everything step by step. We went over my son’s current medical plan and got dates down and worked up a follow up plan. She showed so much compassion and empathy towards my son and his medical issues. She heard out our concerns. Definitely recommend bringing your children here.
