Dr.Dans is the standard of excellence across the board. From the competence and kindness of his front office to the time spent with Dr.Dans , I felt safe and in highly professional care. I had never had a full body check so I was Show morea bit worried. But Dr. Dans had an easy and thorough manner which calmed me. I also had a mole which he explained was not dangerous and handed me a helpful photo card to check for moles on my own in case any did look suspicious in the future . He prescribed an ointment for my longtime bothersome flaky eyelids and under. They are now doing better which is a miracle because I’ve tried everything. We also discussed an approach for my fine facial lines and all other questions I had were addressed. I didn’t ever feel rushed . He took my insurance with a nominal co-pay. Dr.Dans deserves ten stars.
As with every one of my twice-yearly visits, the receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile and then politely escorted me into one of the treating rooms, where she asked me questons about my current dermatological status. (NiceShow more to know they care!) After just a few minutes, Dr. Dans came in, reviewed my chart and the receptonist's notes, and then did his usual, through body scan. He asked me, as he always does probably as more of a reminder to me, whether I use sunscreen on my face and the backs of my hands, and of course I do. He also discussed with me the wisdom and possible effect of any further treatment for a very old scar on my right cheek. Could not be more satisfied.

As an expert in his field, Dr. Dans has published numerous scientific and medical articles and book chapters about skin diseases and treatments. In addition to being on staff at California Pacific Medical Center, he teaches the next generation of physicians as a volunteer clinical instructor of dermatology at UCSF.
In his free time, Dr. Dans enjoys skiing, hiking, and mountain biking with his family.

I really appreciate Dr. Dans kindly demeanor and professionalism during examinations. Skin problems can cause fear and emotional responses, and Dr. Dans excels at delivering information in a clinically accurate but caring manner.
