I've been going to Dr. Dans for many years, and have been very pleased with his care. He is easy to talk with, patiently answers any questions I have, and has taken good care of my various skin issues. His portal is user friendly,Show more and makes scheduling appointments very easy to do. And Terri, his office manager, is wonderful! Dr's visit was great. As you meet his assistant first with questions and then she informs the doctor with your concerns and issues. Doctor comes in and sees you and checks you out. If you need treatment there he will do it or preShow morescribe medication for you. Friendly staff too.
A board-certified dermatologist, Michael J. Dr. Dans received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of California, Davis before earning his combined MD/PhD degree at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his dermatology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
As an expert in his field, Dr. Dans has published numerous scientific and medical articles and book chapters about skin diseases and treatments. In addition to being on staff at California Pacific Medical Center, he teaches the next generation of physicians as a volunteer clinical instructor of dermatology at UCSF.
In his free time, Dr. Dans enjoys skiing, hiking, and mountain biking with his family.

I felt like all of my skin concerns were addressed, and the derm was very informative of what to look for when doing an annual preventative skin cancer check.
He's was nice and polite
As with all of my previous appointments, the service and treatment were top notch. Warm and efficient welome by the staff, merely a 3-minute wait to see Dr. Dans, and then another efficient, thorouh 6-month exam. I contine to be extremely pleased with my visits and treatment, and highly recommend Dr. Dans and his office.
