Michael Kushner, MD, is a gastroenterologist at both Stoneleigh Medical Group and Westchester Putnam Gastroenterology. He is dedicated to providing patients living in and around Carmel and Pawling, New York, with comprehensive, individualized care.
Dr. Kushner is a native of New York and received his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn in 1990. He completed his medical internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and then served as an emergency room physician there for one year. He completed his gastroenterology/liver disease fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he remained on staff as a teaching faculty member before entering private practice in 1997. He has been voted as one of the top gastroenterologists in the Hudson Valley since 2016.

It's always a pleasure to meet with Dr. Brenner. He's very friendly and puts me at ease. While we're talking about travel or favorite restaurants Dr. Brenner is still discussing how I'm feeling and getting updates on my health. He doesn't miss anything. He never rushes me and answers every question I have. I've been a patient of Dr. Brenner's for over 20 years.
