If I could leave a zero star review for this clinic I would. My experience with both the NP and PCP was horrible. The first day I came in I specifically requested the a physician and not an NP. I ended up being rushed during my apShow morepointment by the NP. She didn’t seem to care about my concerns and when I was leaving the clinic I could hear her yelling that she didn’t want to stay in the office late. How embarrassing for patients to hear that. I called the following morning to see Dr.Malloy. The front desk was nice and made an appointment for me. I see Dr.Malloy and I tried to tell him my concerns and he’s looking at his Apple Watch and dissociating my concerns and saying “I’m young” I’ll be fine. Who does that. I left this office crying. I highly don’t recommend this clinic. A big waste of time! I got an email a few days later saying my summary notes are available to view online. As I look and review there are notes from the NP saying she checked my lungs, eyes and mouth. BIG LIE!! They just had a conversation with me and never touched me or checked my breathing. What a joke this clinic is.

For me, it’s invaluable when my health care prShow moreovider explains not just his or her diagnosis, but relates it on a holistic level that fits how & why it’s manifesting the way it is for me! The icing on the cake for me is getting an understanding of the medication prescribed, as well as putting any concerns I have about reactions or side affects to rest with sound information & years of experience with a varied population of people and treatment practices! I’m exceptionally pleased with my care by Sigma!

Education has always been a central focus for Dr. Maloy. He began his studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, earning his undergraduate degree in biology. He remained at UT San Antonio to complete his medical degree from the School of Medicine.
Dr. Maloy completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center-Regional Academic Health Center in Harlingen, Texas, where he then served as an assistant professor of medicine.
He continues to seek out opportunities to expand his skills and knowledge through ongoing education.
Dr. Maloy founded Sigma Primary Care in 2016. Over the years, the practice has become an invaluable resource to patients in the Central Texas region. They appreciate how the team takes time to get to know them and their unique set of health needs and goals.
When not working with patients, Dr. Maloy can be found spending time with his family and enjoying time outdoors hiking in the San Antonio area. He also enjoys weight training as a means of staying healthy and active.

Dr Malloy is amazingly efficient, kind and knowledgeable. After just a little bit of describing my symptoms he knew exactly what it was and called in medicine for it. I don't know what I would do without Dr Malloy
Dr Maloy is Awesome However my appointment was at 2:00 and did not get seen for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The visit took 10 minutes. The office staff not always great on call backs and move very slow as well .

I can’t ever say Enough about Dr. Maloy and his staff. I love that he actually takes time to ask how you’re doing over all? He ask questions that are not necessarily related to the reason you came in. He truly cares about your well being. He is great with everything he does. He offers a lot of services that you wouldn’t expect from your Primary Provider. Ask questions to get more information about other things he does, like skin care. Again let me talk about the staff. The ladies are very professional. Always greeted with a smile
Excellent Dr. Maloy, Very easy to talk to. Really good staff and NP Sandra helped me a few days ago. Finding a good Internal Specialist is essential for me. Too much stuff going on with me. So, I really appreciate the care, concern and genuine wisdom. Thanks for all you guys do, Mark Tarbox
Dr. Malloy takes time to listen to your concerns. He is bright and up to date with the latest medical data. He is caring, committed and you will be in great hands. The office staff is friendly and work very efficiently.
I called concerning a follow-up on a recent ER and hospital event. They got me right in and the PA went over records and ordered more meds on my behalf. Office aids are great and competent. Overall, it was a much more pleasant and productive visit than my previous primary care doctors office. They are patient with this old geezer and listen to my concerns. 6 stars not available.....
Sandra met with me for my appointment. She was welcoming and professional. She recommended meds for me that had an immediate positive affect on my sinus infection. I look forward to her care her in the my future visits.

I had been looking for a practice who would accept Medicare and Tricare For Life. Most that I found had poor reviews. A friend referred me to Dr. Maloy. I called and got in quickly. I feel that they are probably the best practice in the area. I don’t feel rushed through my appointments and they address all of my issues. I am very pleased. Thank you!
Got a same day appointment. Was checked in quickly and was seen several minutes after that. My actual visit was quick and though. All my questions were answered.

Dr Maloy and his staff were great. This was my first visit and was a bit nervous. However, once I was they called me back and the doctor saw me, I definitely felt more comfortable. I came in a week too early for my routine check-up and the Dr. Maloy's office took me in that day. That's a rare experience in a world that books things weeks out these days.
There great doctors easy to talk to there more like people person they talk with you and make you feel comfortable bout your visit they really do make you feel like family
