Staff was helpful. Dr. Mandese answered my questions. My only criticism is the billing portion of the visit over which I doubt Dr. Mandese has much control. $75 for Refraction and "contact lens fitting" seems excessive. I havShow moree worn contacts for many years - no "fitting" was needed and there was no change in my Rx. My last Rx renewal cost $45 and my Rx was for 2 years. This one cost $75 and the Rx was for 1 year. Seems a bit inflationary to me. I guess everything is. Again, the staff were friendly, Dr. Mandese gave me as much time as I needed. The facility is bright and clean and there was plenty of seating in the waiting room.
Each technician was exact and thorough for the testing that they were conducting. They supplied me with a wheelchair for easier access to move between rooms and had each room clean and set up in advance. All the techs worked smootShow morehly together and communicated quickly. They kept me advised of each step and told me what they were going to do, then did it. Dr. Mandese was a bit delayed to get to me, but was all smiles as he greeted me with eye contact and proceeded to review the test results. He retested something that he noticed was unusual. Dr. Mandese is very professional and highly skilled and took time to answer my questions without rushing off.

Visit went well and Dr. Mandese is quite pleasant. Didn't have to wait a long time and exam was fairly quick. Found out that my optic nerve is deteriorating - probably a side effect unfortunately from my MS. I would recommend Atlantic Eye Consultants and Dr.Mandese. My only suggestion would be to have any questions prepared before you forget to ask them.

As usual one of the best eye specialists in the County. Would be lost without his expertise and treatment. Probably wouldn't see very good either. That's why I'm not lost
