In 2019, Dr. Metzger through a routine exam, discovered that I needed cardiac bypass surgery, essentially saving my life. Today I was in for a semi annual check up. After my examination, he asked me follow up questions pertaining Show moreto my current health and then patiently answered my questions. Dr. Metzger is a caring, thorough and understanding physician who I am 100% comfortable with and continues to ensure that I stay on the right course to good health. I definitely recommend him and his caring staff.
The PA and the nurse were wonderful, knowledgeable and thorough. My only suggestion is for the first person who greets patients not to give the patient a hard time for not arriving on time - especially when the text and email remiShow morenders listed one time (the time I arrived) and the staff member stated that it was 15 minutes prior. Clarity and a little more professionalism would be welcomed in the future.
Michael Metzger, MD, FACC, is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist, with special expertise and training in vascular medicine and endovascular procedures. At South Palm Cardiovascular Associates in Delray Beach, Florida, he has extensive experience detecting and diagnosing the full range of cardiovascular disorders, and provides effective, individualized treatment to his patients.
Dr. Metzger earned his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel. He then completed his internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before completing a cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Afterward, he finished an interventional cardiology fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine.
His specialties include the detection and treatment of peripheral arterial disease, as well as diagnosing and treating venous insufficiency. Dr. Metzger is an expert in transradial cardiac catheterization and serves on panels for the “Cardiac Alert” service, which provides prompt interventional services for patients entering the emergency room with heart attacks.

Dr metzger is a great doctor
ELATED WITH PROCEDURE AND RESULTS
appt was scheduled with the wrong doctor by the staff. I need to wait 1 month for my appt now with my doctor. Not pleased with that but that being said, mistakes happen and I still really like the relationship with Dr Harring and his assistants
