I would actually give Dr. Newton, a 1,000,000 star rating, if 5 stars being the best. Dr Newton is the BEST doctor I have ever seen. He goes above and beyond what a Pulmonary Specialist normally does. Dr. Newton saw me in his offiShow morece having a great amount of pain. He looked at every image (CT Scans, X-Rays, Ultra Sound, & blood work) I had in my chart and found where I had broken my back, which is what was causing my pain. I had been to multiple doctors trying to find out why I was having so much pain. He is a very compassionate, Professional, kind, and thorough doctor. I can't say enough good about this doctor, he truly is the BEST! If you are looking for a Pulmonary Specialist, you have found him. Along with his assistant, Denise and his office staff, they will take good care of you. Look no further, this is who you want for a doctor. Dr. Newton, his PA, Denise, the Respiratory Therapist, John and Dr. Newton’s entire team made each and every one of my visits very calming, warm and welcoming. Dr. Newton and his team are very personable and professional. Dr. NewShow moreton gave me his full attention with genuine concern for my well being. He explained all of my test results in a manner which I could clearly understand. He also went over my options for treatment in detail. He listens attentively to your concerns with eye contact. Michael N. Newton MD is a pulmonologist and a sleep disorder specialist serving the community of Tampa, Florida. Dr. Newton takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, and utilizes an integrative approach in his treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome.
Dr. Newton is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, where he earned his medical degree. Following his graduation, he completed his residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Ohio. He completed his Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa.
He is certified in critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr Newton has a great bedside manner always takes the time to answer any questions I have. All of the staff there are friendly and helpful especially the ladies at the front desk.
Very thorough visit as I explained my problems. Dr. spoke of possible diagnosis, ordered some tests and gave some home exercises for breathing. He gave a very understandable course of treatment. He is an excellent physician.
