Michael N. Newton MD is a pulmonologist and a sleep disorder specialist serving the community of Tampa, Florida. Dr. Newton takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, and utilizes an integrative approach in his treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome.
Dr. Newton is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, where he earned his medical degree. Following his graduation, he completed his residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Ohio. He completed his Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa.
He is certified in critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Pleasant demeanor. Very thorough.

The only pulmonologist I would go to or recommend. The staff is always kind and helpful. Dr Newton is not only knowledgeable, he is concerned about patients and takes the time to listen and explain.
My wife and I both have had excellent care from Dr. Newton. My wife has some lung issues and he has always went out of his way to make sure she was taken care of.

Got into the exam room “on time” but the wait for Dr Newton seemed long until I got the very thorough analysis and discussion about my treatment. He is very knowledgeable and professional
