Dr Todd Wood was very personable. While waiting in the office, one of the nurses was conducting business on her phone as she expressed anger about a charge and was threatening to report them to the BBB. Not very pleasant or profesShow moresional. Also, the nurse who took my blood pressure put the wrist blood pressure monitor on backwards. I told her about it but she said that was the right way. She put the face on the front of my wrist; that is why my pressure was so low. Thought you would want to know. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience. Thank you.
Dr. Wood was a wonderful doctor. This was my mom's first surgery with him. English is not her first language, so he made sure that not only did she understand the diagnosis, but also explained the diagnosis to me as well. He haShow mored wonderful bedside manners and took the time to make sure we were comfortable and understood each step of the surgery. We never felt dismissed, and he treated us with the utmost care. My mom felt very safe under his care, and I would highly recommend Dr. Wood as a general surgeon.
Michael Todd Wood, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and laparoscopic surgery specialist with practice locations in Houston and Sugar Land, Texas. He’s well-known for his expert surgical skills and commitment to providing patient-oriented care in a warm and compassionate environment.
This Houston native attended Rice University for his undergraduate education. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Texas – Houston Medical School and completed his surgical training at the same institution. Dr. Wood then received an MBA from Rice University.
Dr. Wood’s stellar reputation as a specialist in minimally invasive laparoscopic general surgery has grown during his 20 years of experience. His expertise includes surgical treatment for various cancers, including colon, skin, and breast cancers. Dr. Michael Wood is a very skilled surgeon. After surgery, I experienced none of the difficulties or side effects I had heard from others who had the same procedure done by other doctors. He does his best to accommodate patients in the office and his pleasant demeanor makes the patient comfortable and at ease.
