Michelle Cantwell, DMD

Dr. Michelle Cantwell is a prosthodontist with advanced training in dental sleep medicine whose practice is limited to managing obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, and bruxism. Combining a lifelong interest in science and art, she chose prosthodontics to deliver precise, functional, and esthetic restorative care. While serving on active duty with the U.S. Navy, Dr. Cantwell developed a focused interest in sleep‑disordered breathing and integrated oral appliance therapy and multidisciplinary sleep care into her clinical focus. She provides patient-centered, evidence-based evaluation and customized oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea and snoring, and comprehensive bruxism management using occlusal appliances and behavior-focused strategies. She collaborates with physicians and sleep specialists to coordinate care and optimize outcomes, and remains active in continuing education and professional organizations.
