Having sought help for at least a year & half & finally was able to visit Dr Giddings who is the most experienced & compassionate person w/understanding an ID/DD person w/brain chemical imbalance brought on by trauma &Show moreamp; who being unable to tell what has happened to them nor by whom! Willing to try a new med & trust to help bring peace & quality of life in addition to receiving a next day phone call to ask how my sister was doing meant a genuine heart of care & concern we sincerely appreciated!
I've been a patient of Dr. Giddings for years. No plan to look for another psychiatrist. She balances the personal and professional parts of the appointment really well, and I’m always impressed by how much time she gives. SomShow moreetimes appointments start late, but you know as soon as you meet her that it's because she doesn't shortchange any clients, which means in this field there may be unpredictable appointments and she isn't rushing them out the door. I appreciate that.

Dr. Giddings is intelligent, understanding, extremely diligent and patient. I’ve been seeing her for a few months now and feel I have gotten the help I need and more. My mental health has approved tremendously. I am very grateful to Dr. Giddings for the care she gives me.

Dr Giddings is most caring as well as highly skilled in driving down to some root issues so those issues can be resolved. She's a no nonsense professional who works well with seniors in addition to younger ages i have seen in the office.
She knows her medication and takes the time personally to talk to us. Dr Giddings makes us feel like family she really cares.

So thankful my friend recommended Michelle Giddings for my daughter. She actually took the time to talk to her and find out what she’s going through in order to determine the best course of treatment. Other psychiatrists don’t really take that time and just prescribe medication without much thought. She knows how to speak to teenagers and explain to them the benefits of medication and therapy. She is very thorough and empathetic. Very impressed !
