Met Dr. Turner yesterday. Amazing experience. I have been in pain for quite sometime. I feel like we have a good plan and on the right road . She explained what was going on in detail and in words that I could understand. Im not SShow moreavvy with medical terminology. I left feeling like I’m going to get my life back. Dr. Turner was very thorough in examining me for a major revision of several surgeries performed by a different DPM. I've only been a patient of hers for a few months. I am in recovery from the procedure and have had my first posShow moret op appointment. I cannot emphasize enough my appreciation for her concern regarding my healing and the level of patient care and attention she provides.
Dr. Milana Turner, DPM, is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who provides skilled foot and ankle care at Oakland Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Clarkston, Michigan.
Dr. Turner treats foot pain, ankle pain, and injuries both conservatively and surgically. She is an expert and extremely passionate about diabetic limb salvage and wound care. She treats both painful and cosmetic foot deformities, sports injuries, and general and diabetic foot problems using a wide range of traditional and cutting-edge techniques and protocols.
Dr. Turner advocates nonsurgical care whenever possible but is fully prepared to perform any surgical repair necessary to provide the patient with a successful result.
Dr. Turner graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, Michigan, and then earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois.
She went on to complete her surgical residency at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Her residency training focused on the reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery.
Alongside her podiatry practice at Oakland Orthopedic Institute, Dr. Turner currently serves on the hospital and teaching staff at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, and McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Additionally, she is on staff at Sparrow Wound and Hyperbaric Clinic in Lansing, Michigan.
Dr. Turner was born in Riga, Latvia, and grew up in Michigan. She speaks both Russian and English fluently. During her downtime, she loves to cheer on the Spartans, travel, play tennis, and spend time with her family and friends.

Got my answers and was able to let Dr. Turner how well my brace helps me with being able to walk and get back to participating in activities again.
Dr. Turner is knowledgeable and friendly. She takes the time to hear your concerns and explains herself thoroughly. She was quick to address concerns I had immediately following surgery and was compassionate throughout my care. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr has my complete vote of professionalism and knowledge for my treatment related to my feet. This may be insignificant to everyone but Dr has resolved toe nail care and I now can walk and be on my feet for hours. I highly recommend Dr Turner for any procedure you are considering. Short wait. Dr. Turner is very thorough and listens to address any concerns you may have. Staff is very courteous and professional.

Dr Turner is a very solid Doctor- competent, caring and knows how to heal. The accessibility for Handicap or people suffering foot/leg injury is atrocious! From parking to even the entry exit door. It is not handicap or injury friendly or sensible. If Dr Turner ever leaves this practice I will seek alternate care based on the hardship of constantly trying to negotiate the difficulty of entry and exit of this establishment. In all fairness I understand it is the building owner and not the practice who refuses to accommodate handicappers. However this is hugely annoying and the only reason I can’t offer 5 stars.

Dr. Turner has taken care of my feet for about 3 years. I am Type 1 diabetic and she cuts my nails and helps me with other issues. She did surgery on my Right foot for some weird growth growing on the ball of foot. Now she is helping me heal from a torn plantar fascia! I’m a runner and she knows I want to get back to running! She knows her stuff!
Dr Turner is very personable and professional. Always answers any questions I have and always asks if I have any concerns. Everyone on the staff is very nice.
