Dr. Monica Sandhu is triple board certified in allergy and immunology, obesity medicine, and internal medicine. At her practice, Magnolia Allergy and Asthma in Dallas, Waxahachie, and Corsicana, Texas, she treats children and adults for a variety of allergic and immunologic disorders. Her special areas of interest include asthma, seasonal allergies, food and drug allergies, hives, anaphylaxis, and weight loss.
Dr. Sandhu grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and received her undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She earned her medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio, and then went on to complete her internal medicine residency and allergy and immunology fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Dr. Sandhu completed her obesity medicine fellowship in 2024. She has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals.
When she’s not helping patients in the office, Dr. Sandhu enjoys spending time with her husband, son and German Shepherd. She also enjoys reading, cooking, snowboarding, and traveling.
