We love love love dr Pritchard! So personable and real. She’s always happy to see us and we’ve been with her now for 17 years. However, I don’t always love how we are treated by some of the staff. I understand if you’re running a Show morefew minutes late they have to consider the rest of the days schedule, but I don’t understand being late shamed. The tone and attitude of the person who was checking us in was un-empathetic and really quite rude. She also shot her finger out at me when I opened the door to say just wait right there to be checked in. I know they have COVID safe procedures now, but they seem to not have much patience with the process. At the end of the check in, I just felt demoralized and as if I should be ashamed(we walked in 5min. Late to our scheduled appointment time). There are kinder ways to approach a family no matter how early or late you arrive. We’ve had the opportunity to see some other providers and I’ve always had great experiences with the providers. Just not always the staff/nurses.
Dr. Bailey was wonderful with our new baby. Great communication and bedside manner. The tech was good too - just a bit vague in her communication style. It was our first time to the clinic so we don’t know the way things are done.Show more For example, we had to change the baby’s diaper and asked what we should do. She gave us a bag and said we were “welcome to throw it away” - but did she mean take it with us or that there was a trash can somewhere? We figured bring it home but were a bit confused by the vague language :) Had a similar experience with a tech at the Sellwood location - not very generous or clear communication towards two brand new parents on their first visit to the clinic.

A native of Seattle, Dr. Pritchard attended University of Washington where she graduated with honors. Following her studies is Seattle , she lived in Siena, Italy, studying art history, before attending medical school at the University of Vermont in Burlington. Dr. Pritchard completed her pediatric residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Where she latter became an attending teaching residents and medical students.
Dr. Pritchard has been recognized by Portland Monthly, Three Best Rated, and by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor in the Portland area.
Since joining Sellwood Medical Clinic in 2007 Dr. Pritchard has been committed to patients and their families by providing holistic, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
When she is not working, Dr. Pritchard enjoys spending time with her three sons as well as biking, swimming, running marathons, and backcountry skiing.

Dr. Pritchard is amazing! We’ve been patients for over ten years and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician!
DR. PRITCHARD has been my daughters doctor since birth. She is an amazing doctor, a constant advocate for her health and support in her life physically and mentally.
My son has been a patient of Dr. Pritchard's since he was 2 months old (he is now 13 years old!). From his first visit to his most recent, Dr. Pritchard has focused on helping us feel empowered by our health care choices. During my son's wellness visits she not only focuses on his physical health, but also on his mental emotional wellbeing. In this day, it is that level of care that is even more crucial to a teenager's overall wellness.

Literally a dream experience. Dr. Monique was so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind — and most importantly, she spoke directly to our kiddo, and was so respectful to her. We feel so lucky to be in her care!
Dr. Hadley was great and spoke directly to Garrett so he could answer questions related to medication.
Amazing communication-advice and support for the constant adjustments and growth children and families make. It feels United honest safe and nurturing-their nurse line is simply amazing too!

Dr Pritchard is the best pediatrician- every time our kids get to see her we are reminded how lucky we were to find her! And her support staff (Angel) and advice nurse (Erin) are always kind and super knowledgeable and helpful with everything that comes up with our kids. We are grateful to have this team of amazing professionals for us and our kids.

Incredible experience here. Monique was so warm and personal and made us feel like we were in a good friends hands. We initially went to a different pediatrician at another clinic and didn’t feel like it was the right fit so we chose to transfer to sellwood pediatric and are so happy with that decision!

I love Dr. Pritchard. She is so sweet with Cameron and provides helpful info about what to expect in the months to come in terms of development. She’s also nonjudgemental in her approach. I only wish she was in less of a rush everyone we see her.

Dr Dart has a great approach to newborn care. She consistently checks in with both of us parents especially mom. Dr Dart is a rare pediatrician who understands the child’s well-being includes a healthy postpartum mama.
