The entire staff at Pain Medicine Group is great. My visit on 3-28 was for a RFL on the left side of my back. This was done on L5 to S1. This is a procedure I have done about every 6 months to help with the constant pain in my bShow moreack. Dr. Callahan is great and is very helpful in answering any questions I may have. I would recommend her and her staff to anyone who needs help with their pain.
I really was impressed by Dr Callahan. She didn’t rush through my appointment and addressed my pain concerns. She also offered me another non invasive way to help my neck pain which I plan to try. The office staff was also very frShow moreiendly and easy to deal with. I’ll only be a part timer at this practice and glad they were still willing to take me on!
Licensures and Certifications:
Dr. Callahan earned her medical degree from the University of Miami and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Northwestern University. She joined the Pain Medicine Group after completing her fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Callahan specializes in the treatment of neck and low back pain with interventional procedures including spinal cord stimulation, and also utilizes state-of-the-art regenerative medicine for the treatment of osteoarthritis. She strives to provide patient-centered care through a multimodal approach to improve quality of life and restore function. She is excited to provide care to her community in Sarasota, FL.

Dr. Callahan was great. She took the time to try and figure out exactly where my pain was coming from. She listened and then went over all my options. Got me scheduled right away for an epidural injection. Very pleased with my visit!
