Morresa Collins Bain was born and raised in Hopkins County. Morresa spent five years as a traveling/contract respiratory therapist before becoming a registered nurse. After working for twenty years as an RN in the ICU, pediatrics and home health care, she attended Texas A&M Corpus Christi and received a masters degree in nursing in 2013. Morresa has spent the previous decade serving Hopkins County as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Morresa found her passion working with geriatrics and making house calls in Hopkins County. Morresa is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Morresa and her husband Brian have four adult children and are all active in their church and community. When time allows, she enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, board games, sitting around a campfire and spending time with family. Morresa's favorite quote is, "The greatest things in life aren't things".
