About Muriel Hunt

Muriel believes in the multifaceted nature of each client’s journey and provides a warm, safe and trusting environment, where clients feel valued as well as heard. She will walk with you as you explore emotions and life challenges that are impacting your sense of well-being. Muriel is aware that clients enter into therapy with many unrealized strengths and your sessions with her, she will provide the space that allows for the discovery of these strengths and tailor interventions to assist each client, couple or family, with enhancing their lives, relationships and overall experiences they desire to improve.

With a foundation in Psychodynamic, Cognitive and Mindfulness Theories, Muriel’s approach is integrative and framed within a multicultural context. She draws from evidenced-based practices and interventions that best fit each client’s needs and the goals they wish to achieve. She’s dedicated to building a trusting therapeutic relationship and will work collaboratively with clients as they learn new skills, strategies and methods of coping. In addition, clients will realize a new sense of well-being and gain the empowerment that will allow them to navigate life’s challenges optimistically, meet their goals and flourish.
