The entire office is welcoming and professional. I know my eye health is in good hands here. Dr. Avedian is thorough, patient, and takes his time explaining current studies, the latest advances and what’s on the horizon in vision Show morecare. I always feel more educated about my eyes when I see him. Not only is Dr. Avedian fantastic, everyone there is. Making an appointment is a breeze, you will be greeted with a warm welcome in their beautiful office and if you need glasses they have the most gorgeous frames. Raymond is like a stylist for eyewear. He knows the current fashion trends and has the latest most beautiful designer frames. I usually end up leaving with the first things he shows me proving he gets it right every time. I still have and love the first frame he helped me pick out. In other places when picking out glasses it would take me a long time because I’m never sure, now I just trust Raymond and know I’ll love my new glasses and sunglasses. I would recommend VeyeP to my closest friends and family. Even parking is super convenient. Truly a five star experience.

However, the reason why I took one star outShow more this time is because in my recent appointment, I asked if I could get a prescription for monthly contact lenses instead of the dailies. I’ve had prescriptions for monthlies from Dr Avedian before and I prefer the monthlies over the dailies so I don’t have to open a new pack every single day and so I don’t need to bring so many when I travel. He refused, saying dailies were better and gave me a prescription for dailies. I respect and understand his expertise but being that I’m the patient and I’m paying for his services, I’d think it would be up to me to decide if I’d still like the dailies or if I’d rather get monthlies. That really threw me off
Narbae Avedian, O.D. of VeyeP is a native Californian who cares deeply about the eye health of Los Angeles’ Studio City community. Dr. Avedian has been interested in the medical field since college at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with honors in 2007.
Dr. Avedian completed his doctoral training in optometry at the Western University of Health Sciences in southern California, where he placed in the top 10% of his class. For four straight years, he earned Beta Sigma Kappa honors and dean’s list recognition.
During his schooling, Dr. Avedian fine-tuned his eye care knowledge with internships at a neuro-rehabilitation office in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; an Army hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia; two Veterans Affairs facilities in New Jersey; and a prestigious ophthalmology office in the Los Angeles area. His experience makes him extremely proficient in basic primary eye care as well as the treatment and management of ocular disease including dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic management, and ocular emergencies.
Dr. Avedian is known for being friendly and taking the time to get to know his patients. His goal is to help patients achieve their vision and general lifestyle goals. I have always had a wonderful experience with my eye exams and how thorough it is and the with getting glasses and Raymond always helps up pick out fantastic glasses and then he is able to measure them perfectly for my progressive lenses. I never have an issue with them. We have been going there for 21 years. Always satisfied!!!!!!

Dr. Avedian is a very knowledgeable doctor and extremely informative. I appreciate that his assistant informed me of the extra cost for the retina scan, although I had come before and was aware. The transparency is appreciated!
