I absolutely love Dr Needham and would rate her 5 stars alone. She’s kind, takes time to answer my questions and quells my anxiety which I so appreciate for my first pregnancy. The only reason I’m giving four stars is because ofShow more how difficult it is to ask questions between appointments. When I leave a message on the nurse line, I only get a call back half of the time. If I do get a call back, I can’t rely on the advice given to me from the nurses. I’ll end up asking those same questions to Dr Needham when I’m in the office and she’ll give me a completely different response than the nurse did. A call nurse also recommended I go to the hospital ER when I should’ve just gone to the office instead which resulted in a $1.5k ER bill I now have to pay. The call nurses really really need to be better trained.
I didn’t understand why I had to wait so long to be seen as a new patient when I called in back in January. I decided to wait until my appointment because Dr. Needham had such amazing reviews. I’m so very thankful I waited and didShow more not go elsewhere. I’ve never felt more cared for or listened to in my life. So many other doctors made me feel like my problems were no big deal. But they have been affecting my life for years now. I’m so thankful to be in Dr. Needhams care and to have a plan in place to get me feeling better!! Natalie R. Needham, MD, is a highly skilled OB/GYN who enjoys providing compassionate care to women in every stage of life. She’s currently on the team at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta and treats patients at their offices in Marietta and Woodstock, Georgia.
Dr. Needham is a proud Louisiana native who graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, and completed her OB/GYN residency at Mercy Hospital in Chicago. During her residency, she served as the chief resident, was awarded the Academic Achievement Award, the Resident Achievement in Laparoscopy Award, and earned the title “Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology-Robotics and Laparoscopy.”
Dr. Needham joins the OB-GYN Associates of Marietta team after seven years in Alabama, where she worked in private practice in Montgomery and taught as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She looks forward to continuing her practice in her new home and bringing high-quality medical care and an empathetic bedside manner to the women of Georgia.
When she’s not working, Dr. Needham loves to chase around her two-year-old son, cook with her three stepdaughters, and explore new places with her husband.

Dr. Needham is absolutely wonderful. There is never a judgement or sense of being blown off when questions are asked. She gives you her full attention to make sure that your concerns are completely addressed. She always makes you feel at ease. I would recommend her fully to all that I know!
Overall great experience. Had my first IUD put in and the staff are so friendly and caring, and Dr. Needham made me feel comfortable and helped me through the entire process.

Dr. Needham was the best Dr I have seen in YEARS! I was an emotional mess walking into her office. I had recently visited a different OB practice and felt pressured to be placed on a birth control option I didn’t feel was best… but decided to trust the Dr. I’ve had 15 months of misery! I revisited the previous OB hoping for answers as to what was happening to me. They basically told me it was all in my head. I went to Dr. Needham desperate for someone to listen and validate how I felt. She was compassionate, sympathetic, kind, but most of all, she listened to me. I left that office knowing I had found my new OB. She is truly the best. I would recommend her to anyone! ❤️ Thank you, Dr. Needham.

I would give Dr Needham a five star rating any day. However, I'm giving four stars because it is impossible to ask Dr Needham a question if I'm not in her office. The nurses line never actually results in a call back, and when it does, the advice I'm given is completely wrong (I've checked their advice w/ Dr N at my next appt). One time, the on-call nurse told me to go to the ER when I could've just gone to the office, which resulted in a $1,500 hospital bill that could've been completely avoidable.
Dr. Needham is very caring. She went out of her way to connect on a personal level when I noted some personal family concerns. I really appreciated her taking the time to listen and speak into my life.
