Nathan Wood

Nathan Wood, RMHCI, is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern at My Psychiatrist. Nathan uses cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and aspects of dialectical behavioral therapy in his treatment approach. In addition, he emphasizes the therapeutic alliance, including empathy, genuineness, and positive regard, when treating clients. He is driven by helping clients achieve reduction in mental health symptomatology and engaging in open and honest dialogue with his clients to help them reach their treatment goals.
