Nia White, PMHNP-BC

Nia White, PMHNP, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a strong focus on substance use disorders (SUD) and addiction treatment. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate substance use, recovery, relapse prevention, and the mental health challenges that often occur alongside addiction. Her approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and trauma-informed, recognizing the complex relationship between addiction, trauma, and mental health. Before specializing in psychiatry, Nia worked in ICU and critical care nursing, as well as travel nursing, caring for medically complex and high-acuity patients. This experience provided a strong foundation in assessment, crisis management, and understanding the connection between physical and mental health. Nia also treats anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and psychotic disorders. She also has experience with advanced psychiatric treatments.
