About Nicholas Tolentino, APRN

Nick is the founder of Coastal Balance Wellness, PLLC, created from his vision to practice medicine differently—spending more time with patients, listening deeply, and addressing root causes through individualized, relationship-focused care. Born and raised in Central Missouri, Nick served 14 years in the U.S. Navy as an Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC), providing advanced medical care in high-pressure and operational environments. After retiring, he relocated to New Hampshire and served with Veterans Affairs in mental health administration, later testifying before Congress in support of improving mental health access for veterans and military families. Nick later became a Nurse Practitioner through the University of New Hampshire and has spent the past decade in internal and primary care. His practice integrates functional medicine, hormone optimization, metabolic health, and peptide therapies with compassionate, patient-centered care.
