Nicola Ciarelli, PMHNP

Nicola Ciarelli, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a compassionate psychiatric nurse practitioner and co-owner of 180 Mental Health and Wellness in Phoenix, Arizona, where she provides both in-person and telehealth appointments. She offers comprehensive mental health evaluations and medication management for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, and other mental health conditions.

Nicola takes a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person rather than symptoms alone. She offers individualized care through a range of treatment options, including integrative psychiatry. At 180 Mental Health and Wellness, her mission is to provide therapeutic services that patients feel comfortable engaging in while supporting meaningful change and healing. She also encourages healthy lifestyle changes, including improvements in nutrition and physical activity, to promote overall well-being.

Originally from Milford, Pennsylvania, Nicola moved to Arizona in 2004. She began her nursing career in 2007 and spent many years working in the emergency department. Nicola earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She later completed a post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Maryville University, expanding her expertise in evaluating and treating mental health conditions.

Outside the office, Nicola enjoys hiking, gardening, rock climbing, snowboarding, and playing the piano.
