About Nicole Waihman

I am a psychiatric nurse and a Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate focused on providing thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. My clinical interests involve treating depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions. I strive to provide compassionate care that supports each patient’s individual goals for recovery and overall well-being. My approach emphasizes collaboration, careful assessment, and individualized treatment planning. I believe meaningful mental health care begins with a strong therapeutic relationship and a genuine understanding of each person’s experiences, strengths, and challenges. I obtained my Master’s Entry into Nursing from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the same institution.
