This was my first visit with Dr. Hernandez, and everything went very well. She listened intently and asked relevant questions about my lengthy medical history. I was brought into the examining room promptly after arriving by SteShow morephanie. Without sounding too much like "love at first sight"; it was a very nice first visit. Especially since I found out that Dr. Hernandez is a nephrologist, so now I can see her about my kidney issues also. One less doctor's office visit for me, Hooray!!! Looking forward to my next visit. Always a pleasure and the gang is always on their game. V took me in within minutes of my arrival with a big smile and a "how have you been?" Love her. Dr. Barron followed with some of the best bed side manors you could ask forShow more. Asked me lots of questions asking about my health, dental, skin doc, eye doc etc. Asked if I had any concerns or things he should know and then we proceeded with our yearly checkup. Nisharahmed Kherada, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI, is board certified in internal medicine, clinical hypertension, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular interpretation. Dr. Kherada currently serves as the Section Chief of Cardiology for Memorial Hospital Pembroke.
Dr. Kherada received his medical degree from the B.J. Medical College (Gujarat University) in India and later conducted basic science cardiovascular research at The Ohio State University. He then moved to the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas to complete his residency in internal medicine. He conducted advanced cardiovascular research at Icahn School of Medicine in New York along with a specialized fellowship in clinical hypertension. He then proceeded to complete his fellowship in general cardiology and interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, where he also served as chief cardiology fellow.
Dr. Kherada performs cardiac coronary artery angioplasty and stenting especially via an advanced low-risk radial artery approach from the arm. He also performs lower extremity Peripheral arterial angioplasty/stenting and varicose vein laser ablation. Additionally, Dr. Kherada has specialized skills in Structural Heart interventions including Valvuloplasty and TAVR (non-surgical replacement of narrow aortic valve). Presently, he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and eligible for a society of cardiovascular angiography and intervention (SCAI).

I met with Dr Kherada prior to my Cardiac Cath procedure. I was very nervous and had many questions. I also wanted to make sure that Dr Kherada had all the pertinent information necessary to perform the procedure. Dr Kherada was very attentive and assured me that all will be well.
I went for lab test. Gina took care Of my lab test. She is very professional and very nice. About Dr Hernandez, I am very lucky to have her as my doctor.
