Dr. Tejani is a great doctor! He takes his time to listen and understand your concerns, I never feel rushed. You can tell that he cares about the people he sees! His whole demeanor is warm and welcoming, but direct when needed- like to make you understand the seriousness of what you need to do to better your life. He is genuine and honest and works with you to improve your health short term and long term. Little by little I am sending various family members and friends to him because I will hear their bad experiences with other doctors and send them his way. I used to hate going to the doctor because I never had a good experience, due to my doctor changing or not really caring. I'm glad I switched to this doctor almost 8 months ago, because he is working with me to improve my overall wellness, and I actually look forward to seeing him! His whole staff if great. The nurse and front end lady are both warm and welcoming. They too remember you and are kind and attentive. From the moment you walk in they acknowledge you by name and welcome you with warm greetings. They work with you to accommodate your next appointments, and you get several reminders about the upcoming appointments, which I am grateful for, due to my busy lifestyle. Meet Dr. Tejani
Nizar A. Tejani, MD, MPH, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, making him both a primary care physician and a specialist.
Dr. Tejani has been serving his patients since 1993, when he first opened his medical practice in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Dr. Tejani earned an international scholarship from The Aga Khan Foundation, Geneva, to study at Yale University. He completed his Master’s in Public Health from Yale University School of Medicine. Before that, he received his Medical Degree from Jinnah Sind Medical University, graduating at the top of his class and earning the honor of Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Tejani completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. Following this, he completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York.
Dr. Tejani has vast experience in treating a wide variety of medical conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid problems, weight issues, allergies, sinus issues, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, covid-19 infection, skin infections/ diabetic foot infections/ bone and joint infections/MRSA infections/ skin rashes, depression, anxiety, sleep problems, headaches, common gastrointestinal issues, urogenital infections, herpes, STDs, joint pain/Lyme’s disease, fatigue stress, physicals, recommendations on vaccinations, and cancer screenings. He also advises patients on developing optimal health and a sense of well-being.
