Dr. Osmani listened to me and my viewpoints from the first appointment, he didn't play around with my situation. When I first told people who I was working with a few people told me I should look elsewhere. When I questioned furthShow moreer as to why they advised me he wasn't real sensitive or nice. My personal opinion is I very much appreciated his no nonsense approach, he didn't baby me and he made it clear what was expected. I needed someone to be blunt and honest and not baby me. He is strict but because of his no nonsense approach, bluntness and honesty I knew that I had to succeed. Today is 6 weeks after a double knee total replacement and I've been released to do all activities as previous amd I have healed amazingly. I don't need to be babied, I needed honesty. He is sensitive, caring and does care about his patients but you better be willing to put in the work!! Thank You Dr. Osmani!!
Dr. Ossmani can certainly come across as contentious but I believe it because he is confident, knowledgeable and as a health educator I find some verbal jarring engaging. He listened, thoughtfully responded and I'm convinced had mShow morey best interest in mind as I would hope is the case with all patients. As with most all local doctors he did appear rushed, let's get on with it. I got many more patients. Thank you for your sincerity, time and professionalism. Dr. Omar N. Osmani is an orthopedic surgeon with dual sub-specialty fellowship training in Spine and Joint Replacement surgery. He completed his orthopedic training at the world-renowned Kenton Leatherman Spine Center and The University of Louisville in Kentucky. In 2004 he moved to Roswell, NM and has since called it home. Dr. Osmani has been actively involved with his patients, addressing their concerns with compassion and care, and with a solid scientific foundation. He has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has been an acting pioneer in the community, introducing the latest cutting edge technologies. Among the many significant contributions to his field, Dr. Osmani developed an innovative closure technique for Total Hip Replacement that prevents hip dislocation. This procedure was referred to in Campbell’s Orthopedics, the most trusted reference for orthopedic surgeons. Being in rural New Mexico does not deter him from pursuing and keeping up with the latest cutting edge technologies and making them available to the southeastern New Mexico inhabitants. His goal is to adopt the new technologies that make surgery less invasive, resulting in less collateral damage and faster recovery. As a testament to this commitment, he was the first to perform and introduce the following procedures and technologies in New Mexico:

Quick and easy
I was told to arrive early for my appointment with Dr. Ozmoni. I arrived 15 minutes early and had about an hour wait. Other than that, Dr. Osmoni himself was very professional and informative as were as his staff.

Dr. Osmani and his team were very professional. They took time to answer our questions. We never felt rushed during our appointments. My son needed a surgery on his hand (fifth metacarpal fracture) to place a pin and Dr. Osmani did a wonderful job. X-rays revealed a perfectly straight pin and his fracture healed nicely. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the care that my son received and thankful to Dr. Osmani and his team for taking such good care of him.
