I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lesani and the staff at Las Vegas Urology. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the whole check-in process smooth. Dr. Lesani has the best Show morebedside manner; he listened to my concerns, didn't make me feel rushed, and took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment plan and answer all my questions in detail. With over sixteen years of experience and a patient-centered focus on minimally invasive techniques, it’s no wonder that more Nevadans choose Dr. Lesani for robotic surgery than any other urologist. A board-certified urologist, Dr. Lesani provides care not only to Las Vegans but also to patients from Southern Utah as well as Northern Arizona.
Dr. Lesani attended the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he earned his medical degree. He later completed a surgical internship and urology residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, and a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. He served as an instructor of urology at Northwestern Medical Center prior to joining Las Vegas Urology.
Dr. Lesani adheres to the philosophy that “it’s not the cancer you remove from the patient, but rather it’s the patient you preserve from cancer.” This focus on patient care shines through in his work, and he remains dedicated to providing the safest, least disruptive, minimally invasive care whenever possible, including the latest in robotic procedures.
As a highly respected robotic surgeon and a fellowship-trained urologist in southern Nevada, Dr. Lesani‘s academic work has been presented at urology conferences at home and abroad. In his spare time, he gives back to his peers and the medical community, publishing articles and authoring chapters in books such as the “Mastery of Surgery” and “Management of Urologic Malignancies.” He serves as an invited faculty for the North American Robotic Urology Symposium, an organization dedicated to promoting cutting edge advances in robotics surgery.

Excellent Dr , patient volume probably too high. After my cystoscope procedure I was left in the exam room for more than 20 minutes waiting for information about a possible procedure. No one came to talk to me , so I went to checkout. I was not made aware of the discomfort I would experience while urinating following today’s procedure.
I recently experienced my first appointment with Dr. Lesani and was extremely satisfied with his timely, thorough and detailed diagnosis of a kidney issue. He is the best Urology Specialist that I have ever experienced.
I'll always be grateful to Dr Lesani for doing prostate cancer surgery on me a saving my life. And now he is advising me on my recovery. It's a difficult decision but Dr Lesani has made me feel comfortable through the process.
Dr visit was great. Dr Lesani was very thorough and helpful. We had issues the next day as the prescription was not sent to the pharmacy. Then when sent it was not correct and we had to spend many phone calls to get a hold of the office to get it corrected. After hours of trying to get it correct we returned to the pharmacy only to see it was incorrect again. Dr Lesani told me he would prescribe me 6 months of medication as he understood I was leaving the country. But I got prescribed one month and was told to return each month for a refill. Then we had to beg to get it filled because I couldn’t spend another hour to only to get sent to a voicemail. Not acceptable especially for someone trying to recover from cancer surgery.
After reviewing my petCT and other reports about my condition, Dr Lesani was straight forward and honest about what be could do as a surgeon and about other non surgical procedures. His insight was helpful in helping me make a decision about what type of procedure to have done for my condition.
