Meet Paola A. Escobar, MSN, MBA-HCM, CNM

Paola A. Escobar is a Certified Nurse Midwife known for her calm presence, clinical expertise, and deeply respectful approach to women’s care.  As the founder of Holistic OB/GYN & Midwifery Service, Paola supports women throughout New Jersey and Rockland County, New York with care that is both medically grounded and thoughtfully personalized.

Paola believes that excellent care begins with listening.  Her work is rooted in building trusting relationships and creating space for women to feel informed, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions — whether they are navigating pregnancy and birth, routine gynecologic care, or hormonal transitions later in life.

Her nursing career began at Rutgers University School of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Women’s Health and Sociology.  Early clinical experiences in hospital maternity units and birth center settings shaped her commitment to evidence-based, physiologic birth and relationship-centered care.

Paola later earned her Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, a rare combination that allows her to lead with both clinical excellence and thoughtful innovation.  This dual perspective supports a practice model that prioritizes safety, continuity, and patient experience without sacrificing warmth or compassion.

As an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, Paola remains engaged in current research and best practices while honoring the individuality of each patient she serves.

At the heart of her work is a simple philosophy:  women deserve care that respects their bodies, their voices, and their choices.  Paola is dedicated to educating and empowering her patients — walking alongside them as a steady partner through birth, wellness, and every stage in between.
