Born and raised in Arkansas, Trish is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is both excited and honored to be practicing in the world of obstetrics and gynecology. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Henderson State University, Bachelor in Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Trish is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
As a nurse, Trish worked in the operating room at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery in Plano. Trish provides healthcare services for women of all ages. She has a special interest in educating and empowering women, as well as providing menopausal care and hormone management services for older women. When she’s not working, Trish enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters, riding her Peloton, and traveling. She is also fluent in American Sign Language.

It was a pretty good visit. Very quick. I wish doctor’s and PA’s could discuss more at doctor visits with patients. I find it counterproductive to have to make two appointments. Trish did. Good job listening to my concerns though and gave me possible reasons for them.

Interesting appointment, the building lost power, but I was still able to be seen. Exam was done, medicine refilled. Everything was just done by cell phone lights. Very friendly staff considering the weird circumstances we were in.

I just have to say I have had a HARD time finding doctors that I trust, that listen to what I am saying, and are empathetic towards my feelings about my health. Trish is amazing. She is understanding, she wants the best for her patients, she’s personable, and she is GREAT at explaining things. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Trish for being a doctor that I can RELY on!
I went in today for a 8:45 blood work appointment and was finished, walking out at 8:43. .
I did not have to wait long and Patricia was very friendly and thorough.

I have been seeing Patricia Halbrook for years and have never had a problem. She always answers all my questions and makes sure I’m healthy. She is quick to call and respond if there are any abnormalities with my testing (if there are any) and prepares me for the plan she has come up with. I wouldn’t trade her for another doctor in a 100 years and have recommended her to every woman I know!

I had a wonderful experience with Nurse Practitioner Trish! From the moment I walked into the exam room, I felt more at ease than I ever have at a medical appointment. One detail that really stood out to me was the calming, pleasant scent in the room — I later found out it was from a Scentsy warmer. It created such a peaceful atmosphere, which made the visit feel less clinical and much more comforting. Trish was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and attentive. She took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt confident about the next steps in my care. It’s rare to find a provider who balances medical expertise with genuine compassion so seamlessly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful and thorough healthcare experience — and a little aromatherapy on the side doesn’t hurt either!
