Patricia Horton

Patty Horton is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 12 years of experience in family medicine. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University in 2013 and has spent the past 10 years practicing in a rural health clinic in Southeast Kansas. She holds an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from Labette Community College and worked as a registered respiratory therapist before pursuing a career as a physician assistant. Her clinical experience includes the management of acute and chronic conditions including COPD, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, insomnia, anxiety and depression, hormone replacement and chronic pain. She is especially passionate about encouraging sustainable lifestyle modifications that support long-term health and wellness. She provides evidence-based care for all chronic conditions as well as acute illness and injuries. Her goal is to make high-quality healthcare accessible through telemedicine as well as in her clinic.
